Warehouse Supervisor
The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily warehouse operations, inventory control, and fleet support to ensure efficient HVAC/R distribution. This role leads warehouse staff, enforces OSHA safety standards, manages inventory counts, coordinates deliveries, and handles specialized tasks like refrigerant storage and warranty returns. Job Overview Position: Warehouse Supervisor Industry Focus: HVAC/R, Construction, or Related Field Core Goal: Drive safe, clean, and organized operations while leading warehouse and fleet support teams. Key Responsibilities Operations Oversight: Manage receiving, storage, distribution, scheduling, and urgent order prioritization with service teams. Staff Leadership: Train, orient, and supervise team members while delegating daily and weekly task checklists. Safety & Compliance: Enforce OSHA standards, manage safe chemical/refrigerant handling, and train staff on forklift safety. Inventory Control: Conduct physical counts, reconcile system data, and process warranty returns or vendor credits. Fleet Support: Track vehicle maintenance, mileage, inspections, and scheduling. Qualifications Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Experience: Prior warehouse leadership experience, ideally in HVAC/R or construction. Licenses: Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred); forklift and EPA refrigerant handling familiarity preferred. Skills: Proficient in inventory software, strong organizational skills, and knowledge of distribution practices.
