Occupational Therapist - School

AmergisEducational Staffing ispartnered with a school in Brockton, MA who is currently seeking an ElementaryOccupational Therapist to work with students on a contractual basis. Details ofthe Position Include: + Pay Rate: $65/hour (based on experience) + Start Date: 2 weeks from offer accepted + Duration: 2025-2026 School Year + Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:45 AM - 3:30 PM + Requirements: Licensed Occupational Therapist in Massachusetts; experience with elementary school-aged children preferred + Description: The Occupational Therapist supports students by promoting independence and participation in school activities. Responsibilities include evaluating students' fine motor, sensory, and self-care skills; developing individualized treatment plans; collaborating with teachers and families; and providing direct therapy and classroom strategies to help students access their curriculum. The OT also contributes to IEPs, monitors progress, and ensures compliance with state and district guidelines. Caseload: 44 students, including 7 consults.
