Seasonal Breakfast Attendee

: Job Summary: The Porches Inn at MASS MoCA is seeking a Seasonal Breakfast Attendant to join our hospitality team in North Adams, Massachusetts. This individual contributor role is a seasonal, hourly position with biweekly compensation of $16 per hour. As a Breakfast Attendant, you will be responsible for assisting with breakfast service for our guests and ensuring a positive and memorable experience. Compensation & Benefits:

Responsibilities:

• Set up and maintain the breakfast buffet, ensuring food is fresh and presented appealingly
• Greet guests and answer any questions about breakfast or hotel services
• Take orders and ensure accuracy in food and beverage items
• Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring guest satisfaction
• Clear and reset tables for the next guests
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining the breakfast area, including wiping down tables and restocking items
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards

• Break down the breakfast buffet and stock all the items
• Clean the dishes
• Communicate any guest feedback or issues to the manager for resolution
• Lobby and breakfast room cleaning after breakfast.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel setting preferred
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to anticipate guest needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift to 30 pounds
