Quotes Specialists
Location: Hybrid – Remote + Onsite in Brockton, MA 02302
Compensation: Up to $80,000 base (DOE) + Annual Bonus + Profit Sharing
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Day Shift | Full-Time About the Opportunity
Our client is a well-established distributor specializing in commercial drain and waterworks products. They are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative / Quotes Specialist to support their growing commercial drain division. This is a hybrid role (work from home with onsite time for meetings and training). The position is a backfill for a high-performing team member who was promoted into another opportunity — they are looking for someone who can step in confidently and own the quoting process. If you have experience preparing quotes, strong product knowledge in commercial drains (Zurn, Elkay, etc.), and are comfortable communicating with contractors and customers over the phone, this could be a strong fit. What You’ll Be Doing
- Review incoming leads, bids, and customer inquiries
- Interpret specifications and determine appropriate commercial drain products
- Prepare accurate, competitive quotes for customers
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal departments to ensure pricing accuracy
- Maintain deep product knowledge of commercial drain systems and related accessories
- Follow up on quotes and assist in pricing discussions
- Handle customer service calls related to pricing, technical questions, or orders
- Enter and track quotes in Microsoft CRM
- Work closely with operations/logistics to ensure smooth order processing
- Support negotiations and provide documentation to the sales team
Required:
- Prior quoting experience (must have)
- Experience with commercial drain products (Zurn preferred; Elkay considered)
- Strong communication skills and comfort being on the phone
- Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple quotes at once
- Customer service or order entry experience (3+ years preferred)
- Experience with Oracle
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Microsoft CRM experience
- Background in waterworks, sewer, drain, or plumbing distribution
- Base salary up to $80K (DOE)
- Annual bonus based on prior year performance
- Profit-sharing contribution to 401(k) (company discretion)
