Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit Duration: 10 weeks Shift: 0900-1930 Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience License: RN State License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Annual TB Screening Description: The Registered Nurse will provide care in the recovery unit after surgical procedures. The role involves monitoring patients as they regain consciousness post-anesthesia. Nurses should be skilled in assessing patient conditions and managing discomfort. Collaboration with the healthcare team is essential to ensure patient safety and optimal recovery. Participation in competency evaluations and skills assessments is required. Nurses must adhere to all health and safety protocols, including vaccination and health screenings. Documentation of patient care and adherence to policies and procedures is necessary. The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
