We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Haverhill, Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will handle a variety of accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in daily financial operations. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Responsibilities:• Verify and process invoices to ensure accurate financial records.
• Prepare and issue customer billing statements in a timely manner.
• Manage vendor accounts, including maintaining accurate records and resolving discrepancies.
• Monitor and follow up on past-due payments to ensure timely collections.
• Handle cash receipts and accurately record transactions.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date records of financial transactions and communications.
• Assist with general data entry tasks to support accounting operations.
• Collaborate with team members to address and resolve accounting-related issues.
• Communicate effectively with vendors and customers via email and other channels.• Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
• Experience with invoice processing and customer billing.
• Strong skills in data entry with an emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of vendor management practices and procedures.
• Ability to effectively follow up on outstanding payments and maintain positive relationships.
• Familiarity with email correspondence for clear and detail-oriented communication.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Prior experience in an accounting or clerical role is preferred.
