Emergency Department RN – Days
Lawrence, Massachusetts
- Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM , 3P-3A, or 7P - 7A
- Weekends: 4 weekend shifts per month required
- Orientation Dates: 1/27, 2/17, 3/10
Unit Details – Emergency Department
- Beds:
- 41 private ED exam rooms
- ACU (Accelerated Care Unit): 7-bed fast track
- 35 hallway beds
- Average Daily ED Census: ~75 patients
- Patient Population: Adult & Pediatric
- Pediatrics: Required – must be comfortable caring for peds as part of ratio
- EMR: Meditech Expanse 6 (preferred, not required)
Submission Requirements
- Will accept local candidates (local rate applies if within 50 miles)
- Minimum 2 years of recent ED experience
- Prior travel experience required
- Permanent MA RN license in hand at time of submission
- Certifications (AHA):
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- TNCC
- 2 recent ED Charge/Manager RN references
- Skills checklist specific to Emergency Department
- RTO must be disclosed at time of submission (no post-submission RTO)
Additional Notes
- Strong pediatric competency is essential
- Fast-paced ED with high patient throughput
- Ideal for experienced ED travelers comfortable with mixed acuity and volume
