Repurchasing Trading Associate

We are seeking a Repurchasing Trading Associate to join a fast-paced, collaborative trading team within a leading hedge fund. This is a highly visible role supporting daily fixed income financing, cash management, and repo trading operations while also helping automate and streamline processes across the treasury platform.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a financial services environment, such as asset management, investment banking, or a broker-dealer, combined with strong analytical and VBA or Python skills. This is an excellent opportunity to get your foot in door at a well-known hedge fund.

Pay: $90,000–$110,000 (depending on experience) + bonus + comprehensive benefits

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance automation tools using VBA or Python to streamline data, reporting, and reconciliation processes
• Identify, execute, and manage repo trades across fixed income product groups to optimize firm liquidity
• Forecast and manage daily cash needs, ensuring adequate target balances are maintained
• Manage and foster strong relationships with Broker/Dealer community
• Monitor counterparty exposure and funding market conditions

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related quantitative field
• 2–4 years of experience within a financial institution (asset manager, hedge fund, broker-dealer, or bank)
• Exposure to fixed income products (e.g., treasuries, repo, money markets, or collateralized lending)
• Demonstrated proficiency in Excel and VBA or Python in a professional work setting
• Proven ability to manage time-sensitive deliverables in a dynamic environment
