Job Title:
Automotive Technician

Job Summary:
As an Automotive Technician at Clay Subaru, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Subaru vehicles to the highest standards of quality and safety. You’ll work alongside a team of experienced professionals who value collaboration, integrity, and superior customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues with precision and efficiency.
  • Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Use advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors to explain necessary repairs and maintenance.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with dealership standards.
  • Stay updated on Subaru vehicle technology and manufacturer guidelines through ongoing training.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by delivering timely and high-quality repairs.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • ASE Certification (preferred but not required).
  • Previous experience as an automotive technician or mechanic (Subaru experience is a plus).
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques.
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools, computer systems, and repair manuals.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset.
