Shop Assistant
About Us
Allied Collision Center is a full-service collision repair facility serving the North Shore with a commitment to quality workmanship and customer service. We are looking for a dependable Shop Assistant to help support daily operations and keep the shop running smoothly.
Position Overview
The Shop Assistant plays an important support role in the shop by assisting with vehicle detailing, maintaining a clean workspace, and helping with vehicle movement and deliveries. This is a hands-on position suited for someone who is reliable, organized, and comfortable working in an automotive environment.
Responsibilities
- Wash and detail customer vehicles after repairs
- Maintain cleanliness of the shop, including sweeping and organizing work areas
- Take out trash and assist with general shop upkeep
- Assist with moving vehicles around the lot and inside the facility
- Deliver and pick up vehicles as needed
- Support technicians and staff with general tasks throughout the day
Requirements
- Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working around vehicles and in a shop environment
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in an automotive shop, detailing, or similar hands-on work is a plus but not required
Schedule
- Mon- Fri: 7:30am- 4:00pm
