Purchasing Coordinator

Job Title: Purchasing Coordinator Job Description This is a full time role aimed at assisting with purchase order management. There is potential for the position to become permanent based on performance and business needs. You will be instrumental in ensuring accurate and timely entry of purchase orders and adhering to standard work procedures amidst an ERP implementation. Responsibilities + Enter purchase orders accurately and efficiently. + Follow standard work procedures and guidelines. + Utilize Excel and Outlook for data entry and communication. + Communicate effectively via phone and email, ensuring data accuracy. + Multitask and manage time effectively to meet deadlines. + Exhibit a driven attitude and a strong work ethic. Essential Skills + Proficiency in purchase order and data entry. + Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook. + Experience with inventory purchasing and management. + Familiarity with purchase requisitions. + Any ERP system experience. + Strong communication skills for interacting with internal and external customers. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Ability to communicate updates and issues effectively and ensure adherence to current processes. + Not afraid to hold individuals accountable. Work Environment The work schedule is from 8 AM to 5 PM, with some flexibility available. The role is a 6-month contract to hire with a business casual dress code. Casual, closed-toe shoes are required, and steel toe shoes must be available for manufacturing floor access. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Westfield, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
