Information Technology Project Manager

The Role

As a senior IT Project Manager, you will lead multiple projects to deliver complex technology initiatives. This role demands strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence in a dynamic environment. You’ll collaborate with Product Leaders, Tech Leads, and other partners to ensure alignment and successful delivery of business value.

What You Bring

• Experience: 10–15 years in IT project management or Agile delivery leadership.
• Certifications: PMP or other Agile certifications preferred.

Skills

• Excellent facilitation and communication skills
• Deep understanding of Agile principles and scaling practices
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives

Key Responsibilities

• Guide stakeholders and teams in a complex, ambiguous environment.
• Apply Agile fundamentals to solve problems creatively.
• Lead multiple initiatives concurrently, ensuring clarity and removing impediments.
• Drive continuous improvement and propose actionable solutions.
• Own end-to-end delivery from planning through release and support.
• Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and issues.
• Use data to identify trends and inform decisions.
• Track progress toward goals and escalate when needed.
• Champion inclusivity, psychological safety, and teamwork.
• Encourage continuous learning and open feedback.
• Champion improvements using a test-and-learn mentality.

Please see the below pay rate range for the work location of Boston only : $53.75-$93.75 per hour.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles. Some roles may have unique onsite requirements. Please consult with your recruiter for the specific expectations for this position.
