ABOUT THE FAMILY:

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

• Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications (starting at $30/hour)

• Guaranteed 40 hours per week, with potential for additional hours

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

CHILDCARE

• Provide attentive, engaging care for school-aged children — homework help, after-school activities, and creative play

• Handle daily transportation to and from school and extracurriculars

• Support morning and evening routines as needed; occasional weekend coverage with advance notice

• Foster independence, respect, and good communication

HOUSEHOLD MANAGEMENT:

• Oversee household organization: laundry, tidying, and maintaining supplies

• Run errands, grocery shop, and handle returns or packages

• Prepare simple family meals or assist with weekly meal prep

• Coordinate vendors and light household projects

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Reliable, proactive, and communicative — able to anticipate household needs

• Calm, adaptable, and professional in a family setting

• Long-term mindset; ideally seeking a multi-year position

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally including nanny/household management experience

• Valid driver’s license and strong driving record

• Authorized to work in the U.S.

• 18 years or older

• Flexibility to adjust hours and support occasional weekends

• Fully vaccinated (COVID-19 and standard immunizations)

• CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to become certified)

SCHEDULE & STRUCTURE

The position guarantees at least 40 hours per week, with some flexibility in daily structure. Typical coverage includes a mix of daytime and early-evening hours during the school week, along with additional hours for household support, school breaks, or travel periods as needed. Exact scheduling will be refined collaboratively to best fit the family’s evolving needs.
