Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst (Manual QA) to support a long-term engagement with client a leading insurance provider headquartered in downtown Boston. This is an onsite-driven role requiring 4 days/week in the Boston office.The ideal candidate brings strong manual testing skills, solid analytical capability, and hands-on experience testing applications within the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed manual testing across web, backend, and integrated systems.
• Design, develop, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios .
• Use ALM / Quality Center for test planning, defect tracking, and reporting.
• Validate backend data using SQL (queries, joins, data validation) .
• Review and validate XML schemas, request/response payloads .
• Collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, and UAT teams.
• Support regression, functional, system, and integration testing cycles.
• Document defects clearly and drive issues to closure with the engineering team.

Required Skills

• 3–10 years of manual QA experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with ALM / Quality Center .
• Solid SQL query skills for backend data validation.
• Experience working with XML files and structured data.
• Prior experience in P&C Insurance is strongly preferred .
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work onsite 4 days/week in Boston.
