Cortica is looking for an ABA Clinical Director to join its growing team!
The ABA Clinical Director provides clinical and operational leadership for the site's ABA program, supervising and developing ABA Supervisors (BCBAs) and Assistant Supervisors while ensuring high-quality clinical care and adherence to best practices. This role is responsible for mentoring clinicians, supporting staff development, managing hiring and performance, and ensuring accurate clinical supervision and documentation. In partnership with the Site Director and Area Director, the Clinical Director drives program growth by monitoring key performance indicators, optimizing capacity, supporting referrals and hiring, and maintaining quality assurance through clinical oversight and field supervision. This onsite role contributes to a positive, accountable clinic culture by supporting ABA teammates and ensuring quality care for clients.

What will you do?
- Provide direct supervision to ABA Supervisors (BCBAs), and/or ABA Assistant Supervisors, offering clinical guidance, coaching, professional development opportunities, and performance feedback.
- Lead and direct the work of ABA Supervisors and ABA Assistant Supervisors. This role will be responsible to hire, promote, coach, develop, performance manage, and terminate teammates under its purview.
- Mentor ABA Supervisors in their supervision of Assistant Supervisors, strengthening leadership capabilities and supervisory effectiveness across the ABA program.
- Apply a strong understanding of ABA operations to partner with the Site Director to ensure a steady growth rate for the ABA program through monitoring of key performance indicators, achieving budget growth targets month over month, by ensuring ABA hiring and downstream patient referral targets are consistently met for the site.
- Partner with fellow supervisors to actively support Behavior Technician growth, skill development, and performance improvement initiatives across the site.
- Supervise Behavior Technicians (BTs), as needed for coverage.
- Guide BCBAs through complex clinical situations and support effective, professional communication during challenging family conversations.
- Deliver ongoing clinical training and professional development opportunities for BCBAs to promote continuous skill advancement and adherence to best practices.
- Dependent on total authorized hours for the site, carry a caseload of up to 25%.
- Engage in billable activities, as needed, to support the needs and growth of the program (e.g. ABA Assessments, ADOS, Supervision, etc.)
- Responsible for Quality Assurance of the site's ABA program through supervision in the field, on-site supervision, report reviewing, and other means as needed.
- Provide oversight and guidance for any clinical programs for the site including early intervention programs, social skills groups, summer camps, etc. and liaise with clinical operations team to support the program launches and ongoing success.
- Interview and select ABA candidates for the program.
- In partnership with the Site Director, manage expectations for the ABA team and ensure capacity utilization is optimized.
- Ensure a great onboarding experience for new ABA team members, providing training and support through partnership with the Learning and Development, Talent Acquisition, and HR teams.
- Support the orientation and onboarding of BTs, ensuring clinical readiness and alignment with best practices.
- Ensure that ABA clinical supervisory paperwork is up to date and accurate for the site, including Registered Behavioral Technician Supervision, Board Certified Autism Technician (BCAT), BCBA Supervision, Parent Training and BI Clinical Supervision.
- Verify all safety training is provided for the ABA Team and ensure safety best practices are implemented.
- Participate in and/or lead department meetings.
- In partnership with the Site Director or direct leadership, manage client concerns as they relate to the ABA program including responding to messages, facilitating meetings, documenting concerns, and managing discharge of clients when violations of Cortica's policies take place.
- Utilize expertise in electronic medical record systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office products to effectively manage data and streamline administrative processes within the ABA program.
- This position requires a daily on-site presence at assigned Cortica site during all working hours to support the clinic as a member of the on-site leadership team in all aspects of emergency procedures and safety initiatives.
- Manage caseload assignments to ensure balanced, effective care.

- You hold a current and unrestricted certification from the BACB as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- You have 5+ years of working knowledge of ABA practice and experience working with children diagnosed with Autism in home, school, community and/or group settings.

The base pay range for this opening is $96,711 to $120,888. According to your skill level, relevant experience, education level, and location, you will receive compensation that fits appropriately within the range.
