Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience working with children or in an educational setting preferred
• Ability to follow teacher instructions and support classroom management
• Flexibility and adaptability to varying classroom needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Commitment to assisting students with diverse learning needs
• High school diploma or equivalent required; further education or paraprofessional certification a plus

Responsibilities:

• Support individual students or small groups with instructional activities under teacher guidance
• Assist classroom teachers in implementing lesson plans and classroom routines
• Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom atmosphere
• Provide assistance to students requiring extra academic or behavioral support
• Assist students with transitions between activities and reinforce learning goals
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, or professional development as requested
