Job Title: Electronic Repair Technician
Pay Rate: $21–$24/hr
Location: Worcester, MA
Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Job Summary
We are seeking an Electronic Repair Technician to join our team in Worcester, MA. In this role, you’ll be responsible for modifying, repairing, and improving electronic products, equipment, and controls, as well as assisting in the development of new systems and components. Key Responsibilities
- Disassemble, diagnose, repair, and reassemble returned electronic products
- Troubleshoot down to the component level on PCBs, sub-assemblies, and final products
- Perform testing and QA audits on repairs before return
- Collaborate with Engineering, QA, and Production Control to improve processes and resolve issues
- Participate in design reviews, test procedure development, and training
- Support process improvements to enhance productivity and product quality
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Electronics preferred, not required
- 1–3 years of related experience
- Electronic Technician certification or comparable certification required
- Strong troubleshooting skills (analog/digital PCBs, cable assemblies, transducers)
- Ability to read and work from engineering documentation (schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs, etc.)
- Proficient soldering skills (SMD and leaded components; soldering test required during interview)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
