EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

A life sciences company in Newton is currently searching for an Executive Assistant to support their entire team. Their ideal candidate is a meticulous, detail-oriented, self-motivated individual with a collaborative approach who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Executive Assistant will be exceptionally organized and possess strong interpersonal skills with a true desire to achieve great results.

Responsibilities

  • Manage executive’s time – capture, manage, and resolve ever changing priorities and action items.
  • Manage and coordinate special projects and high-profile events.
  • Attend meetings or represent the executives in meetings as requested. Prepare notes and manage follow up action items. Participate in debriefings.
  • Manage public speaking engagements and key customer interactions.
  • Collaborate with Executive team to develop the company’s value system and culture.
  • Participate in planning for all events and meetings.
  • Coordinate participation for Board of Directors’ meetings and Advisory Boards.
  • Proactively coordinate and manage all details for Board of Directors meetings.
  • Work in collaboration with Executive team on strategic planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5+ years’ supporting C-Level executives.
  • Proficient MS office suite skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and public relations skills.
  • Should be a very poised self-starter who will look for new opportunities to improve current processes.
  • Have great attention to detail, especially while scheduling calendars, allotting time for meals, meeting deadlines, meetings, etc.
  • Outstanding intellect and ability to learn the business and the marketplace.
  • Must be able to supervise, prioritize and delegate effectively.
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Must possess a team attitude and great people skills.

Compensation

  • $115k
