Job Description
The Sr Marketing Manager, Hematology Franchise will be primarily focused on the development and execution of the patient marketing strategy and surrounding tactics. Additionally, the Sr Manager will partner with Hematology brand teams to build and execute congress plans across both national and regional congresses. Finally, the individual in this position will work across the franchise and relevant cross-functional partners to track marketing budget allocations, spend, and reporting, and will work closely with Finance to ensure budget accountability and reconciliation.
Key responsibilities:
Job responsibilities will be focused primarily in these areas:
- Deliver Results – in partnership with the Hematology Marketing organization, contribute to the delivering of outstanding impact to patients
- Patient Advocacy- Serve as marketing team lead for partnering with patient advocacy team in order to support the patient community, derive patient insight and promote the Sobi organization where applicable
- Insight Generation – collaborate with CXI&O and other relevant colleagues to uncover and delineate a clear set of patient marketing insights that help the team understand the MF patient journey and identify clear leakage and leverage points that can be acted on
- Brand Planning – contribute to the development of clear, concise, and compelling brand plans for all Hematology brands and ensure alignment of all assigned strategies and tactics to brand plan concepts and strategies
- Marketing Strategy – partner cross-functionally to develop and continuously refine an insight-driven patient marketing strategy
- Marketing Execution – deliver strong execution of patient-facing marketing tactics that are aligned with strategy and that lead to the achievement of aligned KPIs, metrics, and goals
- Congress Strategy and Execution – engage with marketing team members across multiple brands to ensure Sobi Hematology and our brands are well-represented at national and regional congresses (booth content and design, OL engagement, product theaters, overall presence, etc.)
- Budget Management – Track and maintain franchise spend and liaise between marketing team and finance colleagues
- SRC Excellence – partner effectively with the full SRC team to ensure that all materials meet brand, regulatory, legal, and medical guideline and coincide with approval deadlines
- Sobi Values – consistently live Sobi values and operate with high ethical standards at all times
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Hematology/Oncology, Orphan or Rare Disease experience
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- A minimum of three years of work experience in one or more of the following: field sales, product marketing, or medical / clinical experience in the same or related therapeutic area within the pharmaceutical / biotech industry
- Ability to assemble and lead cross-functional teams toward a shared vision of success
- Ability to present ideas effectively to individuals or groups, targeting presentation to the needs of the audience
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong project management experience, including superior analytical and planning skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to execute against strategic and tactical plans under tight timelines
- Ability to travel to meetings/trainings/programs as necessary
- Work within label, and regulatory and legal compliance guidelines
Preferred Qualifications
- Launch experience preferred
- Marketing experience preferred
- Experience in managing a marketing budget
- Biologics experience preferred

The base salary range for this role is $133,000-$180,000 . Each individual offer will be determined based on several factors, including your experience, qualifications, and location. Additionally, this role is eligible for both short-term and long-term bonuses, as outlined in the plan details.
