We are seeking a talented Software Test Engineer to perform regression post-release testing on sensor and robotic systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct automated testing, execute test plans, and report on pass/failures.

• Work daily in the lab with hardware systems.

• Enhance and edit test plans and procedures as needed.

Essential Skills

• Experience in software testing and test equipment.

• Proficiency in Python and shell scripting languages.

• Familiarity with electrical engineering and LabVIEW.

• Ability to write test scripts and develop automated scripts.

• Experience working in a Linux environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

• Experience with embedded systems is ideal.

• Familiarity with CICD pipelines, pytest, and unittest.

• Preferred experience in building computers and writing their own code.

• Assertiveness to thrive in a research and development environment.

Work Environment

The position is fully onsite in North Reading. Enjoy comprehensive benefits including 15 days of PTO and 7 holidays. The role requires working in a lab environment with hardware systems.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of North Reading, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
