Hours: 34.5 hours/week — 3 shifts of 11.5 hours (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

Compensation:

• Local Candidates: $2,700/week (gross)

• Travelers: $3,300/week (gross)

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a high-performing Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory team in New York City. The ideal candidate will bring strong critical care and procedural nursing expertise, ensuring safe and effective care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.

• Scrub and circulate during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.

• Provide critical care nursing support to patients before, during, and after cardiac procedures.

• Perform IV insertions, phlebotomy, and administer conscious sedation as required.

• Continuously monitor hemodynamic status and patient response throughout procedures.

• Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and interdisciplinary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and results.

• Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality improvement standards at all times.

• Participate in on-call rotation as assigned (if applicable).

• Minimum 2 years of recent Critical Care experience (ICU, CCU, or similar).

• Proficiency in:

  • IV insertion and phlebotomy

  • Conscious sedation administration

  • Cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation

• Prior Cardiac Cath Lab experience strongly preferred.

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN or ADN) required; BSN preferred.

• Active RN License – New York State (unrestricted; verified by NYSED).

• AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) and AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications required.
