Travel Registered Nurse OR Job

TLC Nursing
Pittsfield, MA
Step into the operating room as a Registered Nurse specializing in the OR, and bring your expertise to Pittsfield, Massachusetts, starting January 5, 2026. In this role you’ll be at the center of life-changing surgical care, supporting patients through some of their most vulnerable moments with skill, compassion, and confidence. You’ll join a high-performing team that values precision, teamwork, and patient advocacy, helping to shape outcomes and comfort for families across Berkshire County. Massachusetts offers more than just professional growth; it’s a landscape of outdoor adventures, historic towns, and vibrant culture. From the rolling hills of the Berkshires to scenic trails and world-class arts, you’ll discover opportunities to recharge after demanding shifts—and you’ll have the chance to explore other beautiful locations across the U.S. as part of a dynamic travel nursing program. This assignment blends meaningful, locally rooted impact with the freedom to broaden your professional horizons.

Pittsfield, in particular, presents a compelling backdrop for your next OR nursing chapter. You’ll experience the convenience of a regional hub with access to top-tier facilities, renowned medical teams, and a supportive community that understands the demands of perioperative nursing. When you’re not on the clock, you can savor outdoor recreation in nearby state forests, attend cultural events, or unwind in the charming downtown scene. The appeal goes beyond geography: this role invites you to grow within a system that emphasizes excellence in perioperative care while offering the flexibility to operate in multiple locations across the United States. You’ll benefit from a structured travel program designed to minimize disruption to your life while maximizing your professional footprint, including seamless housing options, 24/7 assistance, and a culture that celebrates your contributions to surgical success.

In this OR Nursing position, your responsibilities will center on delivering safe, patient-centered care throughout the perioperative continuum. You’ll assist with preoperative assessment and planning, ensure aseptic technique, monitor vital signs, and manage anesthesia-related equipment in the scrub and circulating roles. You’ll collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and scrub techs to anticipate needs, respond to intraoperative changes, and advocate for patient comfort and safety. Your clinical leadership will help standardize best practices, reduce infection risk, and optimize throughput without compromising quality. The environment rewards adaptability: you’ll encounter a variety of procedures, from routine to complex, requiring meticulous attention to detail and swift, calm decision-making. The position also offers pathways for professional growth, including hands-on mentorship, opportunities to lead specialty teams, and exposure to diverse surgical subspecialties that deepen your expertise in the OR. In return for your dedication, the program offers competitive weekly compensation of $2,804 to $2,946, recognizing your skill level and the critical nature of your contributions. While the stated hours are not guaranteed, you’ll be supported by a robust framework designed to secure meaningful, skill-building experiences and ongoing career advancement. The assignment’s duration is defined in weeks, with flexibility to extend for ongoing collaboration as needs evolve. You’ll also find a strong focus on wellness and work-life balance, with access to resources that help you stay at your best during intensive perioperative rotations.

The program’s benefits are designed to reflect the premium level of care you provide and to support you every step of the way. In addition to competitive pay, you’ll have access to a sign-on bonus and comprehensive housing assistance to remove the burden of finding suitable accommodations. Extension opportunities are available, allowing you to deepen your impact within trusted facilities while continuing to broaden your professional network. The travel experience is complemented by 24/7 support from staffing specialists who understand the realities of hospital life. Whether you’re adjusting to a new facility’s protocols, aligning with a different surgical team, or navigating patient care transitions, you’ll have round-the-clock access to guidance and resources aimed at making your assignment smooth, productive, and personally rewarding. This level of comprehensive support distinguishes the program and underscores the commitment to your safety, success, and satisfaction.

Our company values your contribution and invests in your development. We’re dedicated to empowering our nurses to advance their careers within a nurturing, inclusive environment. You’ll find opportunities for mentorship, ongoing education, and leadership development that recognize your experience and spark new professional ambitions. The culture centers on respect, collaboration, and a shared devotion to high-quality patient outcomes. You’ll be part of a community that appreciates the critical coordination across perioperative teams and supports your growth with transparent communication, responsive leadership, and access to tools that help you perform at your best—whether you’re returning to Pittsfield or exploring other vibrant settings across the country.

If you’re ready to elevate your OR nursing career while enjoying the beauty and cultural richness of Massachusetts—plus the excitement of travel to other U.S. locations—this is your moment.
