What You'll Be Doing:
At Evolent, when our partners do well, we do well. We work with them to transform the healthcare ecosystem so that everyone - payers, providers, and patients - benefit from better care. All of that starts with good finances. Evolent is looking for a Staff Accountant or Senior Accountant I - focused on revenue recognition - to be a key member of the Accounting and Finance team. This individual will assist in the day-to-day accounting activities and month-end financial reporting requirements, while being actively involved in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial processes.
Collaborations Opportunities:
Evolent's Accounting team works cross-functionally with all departments across the organization, including Operations, and Finance, among others, supporting all company stakeholders, as well as the executive leadership team. This individual will work within a revenue-focused hub of the larger Accounting team, which also includes two separate GL-focused hubs.
What You'll Be Doing:

Preparing accounting transactions across range of business processes (e.g., revenue, accounts receivables, deferred revenue)

Preparing monthly reconciliations

Assisting with variance analysis (month-over-month, quarter-over-quarter, etc.)

Tracking customer aging and preparing cash application

Supporting the quarterly and annual financial statement audits with auditors

Participating in special projects, as needed
Qualifications Required and Preferred:

Bachelor's degree in accounting - required

1-2 years of experience in accounting - required

Experience with a Big 4 accounting firm or other national firm - preferred

CPA license - preferred

Technical Requirements:
We require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router.

The expected base salary/wage range for this position is $60,000-$85,000. As part of our total compensation package, Evolent is proud to offer comprehensive benefits (including health insurance benefits) to qualifying employees. All compensation determinations are based on the skills and experience required for the position and commensurate with experience of selected individuals, which may vary above and below the stated amounts.
