The Role

Are you high-energy, athletic, and love putting smiles on people’s faces? Do you want to be the face (and paws) of something fun on campus? We’re looking for a spirited and enthusiastic Northeastern University student to become Cosmo the Space Corgi , CodeSignal’s cosmic canine mascot!

Cosmo will make appearances on and around the NEU campus dancing, high-fiving students, and spreading good vibes. You’ll be accompanied by a sidekick (also a student) who’ll help record video content and manage any questions from students.

What You'll Do

• Suit up as Cosmo the Space Corgi and interact with students on campus

• Perform dances & playful movements

• Appear in short-form video content for social media (e.g. TikTok, Instagram Reels)

• Work with a partner to help plan and record fun campus content

• Represent CodeSignal in a positive, energetic, and approachable way

Who You Are:

• A current Northeastern University undergraduate or graduate student

• Comfortable in costume and animated body language

• Outgoing, reliable, and great with crowds and students

• Able to commit to a few hours per week

Note: The mascot costume is built to accommodate performers approximately 5'8" to 6'1" in height for proper visibility, mobility, and safety. For safety and costume fit, we are only able to consider applicants who fall within this range.

The Salary

In accordance with local regulations in jurisdictions where CodeSignal may hire, we are projecting an hourly salary of $20 per hour.
