Are you looking to join a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment where you can grow your skills and be part of a team-oriented culture? We’re hiring dependable Packer / Machine Operators to join a dynamic production team at a leading manufacturing facility in Orange, MA.
Job Overview
As a Packer / Machine Operator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring high-quality packaging and machine operation for production materials. You will be responsible for packing products, operating single-function machines, and maintaining a clean, efficient, and safe work area. Training will be provided—no prior experience required!
Key Responsibilities
Pack tissue products into polybags or cartons and inspect for quality and accuracy.
Seal packaging with attention to eliminating wrinkles or defects.
Operate machinery such as punch presses, shears, expanders, rollers, and hemmers.
Fold and insert materials into bags, sleeves, or cases as needed.
Count accurately (up to 1000 units), label and pack finished products.
Perform operator-level maintenance and support cleaning tasks in your area.
Follow detailed work orders and safety guidelines with precision.
Work collaboratively with the team and contribute to a clean and organized workspace.
Assist with paperwork, labeling, and feedback documentation.
Physical & Mental Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods (8-hour shifts).
Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Frequent bending, twisting, turning, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
Able to read and follow written instructions and safety protocols.
Comfortable working in a repetitive-task environment.
Shifts Available
1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
(Monday through Friday)
Ideal Candidate
No experience required—training provided.
Reliable with strong work ethic and punctuality.
Able to follow instructions and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
Willing to perform additional duties such as light janitorial work when needed.
