Marketing Manager
Description
We are seeking a motivated Marketing Manager to join the Marketing Strategy and Activation team. This role is responsible for marketing strategy and project management in support of programs including: Center for Investor Insight, Macro content, paid media support (our Morningstar relationship) and brand/corporate initiatives. This is a hybrid position and requires a minimum of three days/week in our Boston (Back Bay) office.
Leading through collaboration, you should be comfortable working with various styles and applying your marketing acuity and industry knowledge to drive strategy for high visibility programs and initiatives within specified deadlines. You bring a positive, can-do demeanor to the team, with a desire to learn about our clients, our business, and Natixis. You are proactive, detailed oriented, process-driven and have a positive, “roll up your sleeves” mentality. You approach your career as a “student of the game,” with curiosity and excitement around innovation, evolution of marketing and opportunity. You also lead with a digital-first approach, with a strong emphasis on the analysis of metrics that contribute to the success of campaigns and future endeavors.
What you will do:
Center for Investor Insight:
Collaborate with the program’s Executive Director to build plans to promote our research reports/sentiment data with impactful content/materials. (e.g., videos, papers, web articles) that highlight our proprietary insight on FA/investor sentiment.
Manage all marketing tactics associated with the Center, including production of 5+ digital research reports/year and associated web content, promotional elements, etc.
Macro:
Work closely with our macro specialists and portfolio strategists to build plans to support a robust macro content communications calendar, including
Multiple weekly emails for Sales use
Quarterly webinar scheduling, facilitation, promotion and follow-up
Maintenance of macro landing page content, including weekly updates (“Chart of the Week,” e.g.) and other time-sensitive elements; enhance page with new ongoing compelling content
Paid media:
Manage a robust media schedule with Morningstar, including delivery of creative for multiple digital ad placements
collaborating closely with media buyer and Morningstar to stay ahead of our buy schedule (with new creative cycling in every 6-8 weeks)
Developing emails for distribution to Morningstar subscribers
Reviewing metrics to inform future placements/creative
Brand/Corporate:
Responsible for oversight and maintenance of brand/corporate content, including:
General Natixis web content (“About Us,” e.g.)
Quarterly corporate pitch books
Messaging playbooks for focus themes/campaigns
Outlook campaigns to feature timely content from Natixis thought leaders, portfolio managers
Marketing process:
Become proficient in established marketing systems/processes/best practices, including:
Develop comprehensive creative briefs and plans that outline crucial information (e.g., goals, target audiences, key messages, exceptional factors, critical metrics) to guide team members.
Work closely with Marketing Operations partners to ensure projects are well executed
Build proficiency in Workfront, Saifr, Co-pilot, Seismic and other systems that are integral to our marketing process
Maintain strong and regular communication with internal and external partners to ensure alignment and timeliness of collective efforts
Maintain content on our US websites while collaborating with Editorial and Digital teams
What you will bring:
A minimum of five years of relevant marketing experience required; financial services marketing or experience in a similar highly regulated business environment preferred
BS/BA degree in relevant subject area
FINRA licenses preferred (SIE, 6, 26)
Prior experience with investments/investment marketing
Strong attention to detail, with proven effectiveness in project management
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong presentation skills
Ability to thrive in complex marketing operations environment (workflow tools, compliance tools, Seismic, salesforce a plus)
Ability to build relationships and effectively collaborate with colleagues across the organization
Takes initiative and demonstrates ownership/accountability for assigned projects
Able to clearly articulate plans, progress, and marketing recommendations to key constituencies, and support effective meetings and discussions
Skilled at developing creative briefs and marketing campaign plans
Have a proactive, can-do attitude
Ability to lead and prioritize multiple projects in a timely manner
Be a positive and encouraging team member with a “one-team” approach
Bring a digital-first, collaborative approach to projects
Experience with implementing, collecting, and analyzing metrics to evaluate and communicate the effectiveness of marketing tactics and strategies
Work effectively with various internal and external business partners (e.g., Editorial, Design, Marketing Operations, Investment Strategies Group, Digital, Sales, Compliance)
