Senior Project Manager

MalaceHR is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex projects from planning through successful completion. This position will be responsible for managing project scope, budgets, schedules, stakeholders, and overall execution while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to established quality standards.

The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills along with extensive experience managing projects within commercial real estate, construction, facilities, or related environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver comprehensive project management services from project initiation through closeout.
  • Manage all aspects of assigned projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, execution, and completion.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively identify potential risks, delays, and cost impacts.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, clients, contractors, vendors, consultants, and other external stakeholders.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within approved budgets, and in accordance with established quality standards.
  • Provide leadership and direction to project teams while promoting accountability and collaboration.
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding project goals, expectations, and business objectives.
  • Provide regular project updates and communicate key milestones, risks, and action items to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to improve project delivery, processes, efficiency, and overall client satisfaction.
  • Support project change management and ensure changes to scope, schedule, or budget are properly documented and communicated.
  • Ensure project activities comply with applicable construction standards, building codes, and organizational requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management , or a related field.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management certification.
  • Minimum of 7 years of project management experience , preferably within commercial real estate, construction, facilities, or a related industry.
  • Proven experience successfully managing complex projects from inception through completion.
  • Strong understanding of project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, vendors, contractors, and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency with project management software and standard business applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Experience managing projects across multiple sectors, including office, retail, industrial, and healthcare environments .
  • Demonstrated experience with change management and process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, project delivery methods, and applicable building codes.
  • Experience implementing innovative project management practices, tools, or processes.

The successful candidate will be a highly organized and proactive project leader who can effectively manage complex projects while maintaining strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders. This individual should be comfortable taking ownership of projects, resolving challenges, managing competing priorities, and driving projects toward successful completion.
