Staff Accountant
Boston, MA (Hybrid Schedule)
We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join a fast-growing, private equity-backed company that is transforming its industry. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who wants to gain broad exposure to full-cycle accounting and contribute to a dynamic, high-growth environment. Responsibilities- Prepare and post journal entries and perform account reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
- Support Accounts Payable and other transactional accounting activities.
- Help prepare financial statements and ensure compliance with GAAP.
- Assist with audits and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide accurate financial data.
- Participate in special projects as the company continues to scale.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2–3+ years of accounting experience, including exposure to month-end close.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls.
- Proficiency in NetSuite is required.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
- CPA designation is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
