We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Enhancement Technician to join our dynamic groundskeeping team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving outdoor landscapes through skilled operation of grounds maintenance equipment, planting, and landscape enhancement activities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of horticulture, landscape maintenance practices, and safety protocols to ensure the creation and preservation of beautiful, healthy outdoor environments. Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, and trimming to uphold high standards of grounds appearance.
• Operate a variety of groundskeeping equipment such as power tools, lawn mowers, trimmers, and snow plowing machinery safely and efficiently.
• Assist with planting, transplanting, and plant identification to ensure healthy growth and landscape design integrity.
• Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers and related components to optimize water efficiency.
• Manage pesticide application in accordance with safety protocols to control pests while safeguarding the environment.
• Conduct routine inspections of outdoor areas to identify maintenance needs or hazards and address them promptly.
• Follow all safety procedures diligently during outdoor work activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven outdoor work experience with a focus on grounds maintenance or landscaping.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and power tools operation.
• Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques including mowing, edging, pruning, and plant care.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems, pesticide management, and horticulture principles.
• Ability to identify various plants and understand their specific care requirements.
• Experience with snow plowing or winter maintenance is a plus.
• Excellent adherence to safety protocols combined with strong physical stamina for outdoor tasks.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse weather conditions.
