Registered Nurse Job Details

• Job Title: Locum Tenens Registered Nurse – Telemetry (Float Pool)
• Location: Burlington, MA 01803 (Greater Boston area)
• Healthcare Setting: Trauma Level I Hospital
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 10/6/2025, End: 1/3/2026)
• Shift Schedule: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7a-7p, then 7p-7a in 4-week blocks)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,470 - $2,540
• Employment Type: Locum Tenens / Travel Nursing Contract
• Weekend & Holiday Rotation: Required

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• ASN degree required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry (MS/Tele) nursing experience
• Experience in Trauma Level I hospital highly preferred; Trauma Level II experience considered
• Prior travel nursing or locum tenens RN experience required
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system required
• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification
• Must pass Telemetry competency test on first day (pass/fail)
• 2025-2026 flu vaccine required at submission (attestation accepted if vaccine will be received prior to start; declinations not accepted)
• Facility is not accepting local candidates
• Cannot have worked perm/travel/PRN for any Beth Israel facility within the past six months

Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg Telemetry Float Pool
• Float to various hospital units as needed to support clinical staffing needs
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions; administer medications using EPIC EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in scheduled weekend and holiday rotations
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
