You will help deliver care across the entire spectrum of primary care – with internal medicine, family medicine, pediatrics, geriatrics and women’s health services. You will be in a team-based setting, where primary care works hand-in-hand with behavioral health, pharmacy, complex care and multilingual interpreter services. CHA is also a teaching hospital, with several primary care centers hosting CHA’s Harvard Internal Medicine residency and Tufts Family Medicine residency.

Job Responsibilities:
Competence in duties described for Practice Medical Receptionists. Identifies and responds to problems with patients and staff. Identifies, implements and evaluates process changes improving practice operations. Provides direct supervision, including the interviewing, hiring, evaluation, discipline, and firing of support staff. Oversight of daily clinic schedule. Assists in the training of new employees. Constructively analyzes work processes and contributes to the team to improve workflow as needed. Provides leadership and participates in the team effort to efficiently complete all department work within the appropriate time interval. Motivates staff, demonstrates a collaborative approach to problem solving, and promotes the understanding of the practice mission and goals.

Qualifications:
Education/Training: Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Work Experience: Three years experience in Ambulatory Care operations with demonstrated management, organizational, and problem solving skills. Previous experience as a medical assistant preferred.
Desired Skills: Excellent communications and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with Google Suite strongly preferred. Bilingual Spanish/Portuguese/Haitian Creole preferred.
