TRU-Ryde Transit LLC provides Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) services with compassion, safety, and reliability. We are currently seeking responsible and caring drivers to join our growing team. Position Overview:
As a NEMT Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting clients to and from medical appointments, adult day programs, and other essential services. This part-time role is perfect for someone looking to make an impact while working a consistent, split shift schedule. Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport clients on scheduled routes
- Assist passengers in and out of the vehicle when needed
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and communicate effectively with dispatch
- Ensure a respectful, patient-centered transportation experience
- Split Shift: Typically 7:00 AM 9:00 AM & 2:00 PM 4:00 PM
- Monday through Friday (weekends off!)
- Occasional opportunities for extra hours/routes
- Valid Massachusetts drivers license with a clean driving record
- Must be at least 19 years old
- Ability to pass CORI/SORI background checks and drug screening
- Prior experience in transportation, human services, or caregiving is a plus
- Dependable, courteous, and committed to safety
- Able to pass drug screening
- Willingness to complete company-provided training (CPR/First Aid, Defensive Driving, etc.)
