South Shore Early Education and Care is a program of the South Shore Community Action Council - a private non-profit providing multi-level program support on the South Shore, Cape and Islands, South Shore Early Education and Care in Wareham, at our new state of the art Early Education facility; seeks a full-time -Teacher Preschool, 37.50. hours per week, 52 weeks per year. Schedule is from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily. Base hourly rate with CDA-$24.36/hr., base hourly rate with AA/AS $25.37/hr., base hourly rate with BA/BS $27.40/hr.

Core Duties: Develop and implement daily lesson & curriculum plans using creative curriculum. Creates and maintains a safe and healthy physical environment that fosters the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of students. Perform teaching activities that align with the Head Start Performance Standards regulations. Meal assistance, Bus Monitoring and other various activities as assigned.
Core Qualifications Commonwealth of Massachusetts EEC certification in Preschool required. CDA, associate degree, or bachelor’s degree in early childhood (or related field) degree preferred. Must be able to speak and understand English. Portuguese, Spanish, Haitian Creole, Arabic helpful, although not required.
Minimum Requirements at employment:
· All candidates must undergo a CORI, DCF, SORI, and fingerprint background check; prior to beginning employment.
· Date of posting 11/24/25, deadline to apply 12/5/25 or until a suitable candidate is found.
· Valid MA state driver’s license.
· Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
