Payroll Specialist

education: No Degree Required Responsibilities Client job description As our Payroll Specialist, you will manage full-cycle payroll processing for a multi-state workforce. You aren't just entering data; you are optimizing our systems, auditing for errors, and serving as the go-to expert for all payroll-related inquiries. Key Responsibilities
- System Management: Execute end-to-end payroll cycles using ADP Workforce Now and Paycom , including time & attendance reconciliation and data maintenance.
- Compliance & Tax: Ensure strict adherence to federal, state, and local tax regulations, managing garnishments, benefits deductions, and year-end reporting (W-2s).
- Audit & Accuracy: Conduct pre-processing audits to catch discrepancies in overtime, PTO accruals, and new hire setups.
- Problem Solving: Act as the primary point of contact for employee questions regarding pay statements, tax withholdings, and system navigation.
- Tech Power-User: At least 2+ years of hands-on experience specifically with ADP Workforce Now and/or Paycom .
- Excel Savvy: Proficiency with VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables for high-level data analysis.
- Discretion: A high degree of integrity and the ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
