Quality Inspector / Quality Technician

Tempt to Perm, Direct Hire | $26.00 - $32.00/hr DOE | North Shore, MA

What You'll Do

• Inspect raw materials, in-process components, and finished products
• Perform First Article Inspections (FAIs)
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
• Utilize calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools
• Identify and document non-conforming materials and quality issues
• Support ISO 9001 quality initiatives and internal audits
• Assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions
• Maintain quality records, traceability documentation, and inspection reports
• Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to improve processes and ensure compliance

Qualifications

• 2+ years of quality inspection or quality technician experience in manufacturing
• Machine shop, sheet metal, machining, or precision manufacturing experience required
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings
• Experience using precision measuring equipment
• Familiarity with First Article Inspections (FAIs)
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems preferred
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
