Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care for endoscopy procedures, including pre-procedure assessment, intra-procedure support, and post-procedure recovery
- Prepare procedure rooms, assist with equipment setup, and monitor patients throughout the endoscopy suite
- Administer medications per physician orders and facility protocols; monitor patient response and manage potential adverse events
- Document care activities, patient status, and procedure details in EPIC EMR; ensure accurate, timely charting
- Maintain sterile technique, support patient safety, and collaborate with the surgical team, anesthesia providers, and support staff

Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN license in good standing at time of submission
- Minimum 2-3 years of RN experience
- Endoscopy/procedure room experience required (pre/post op and procedure room) and ability to support endoscopy flow
- CPR-AHA certification; ACLS and BLS certifications
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Ability to work 8-hour day shifts (7:00-15:30 or 8:00-16:30)
- No local travelers within 50 miles of the facility
- Pass/Fail ECG/Telemetry test and Medication test prior to acceptance; one attempt only; passing score: 85%; tests administered via Zoom; testing within 48 hours of confirmation; study guide provided
