Position Description: The Department of Psychology at Harvard University seeks to appoint a tenure-track professor in Clinical Psychology. The appointment is expected to begin on July 1, 2027. The tenure-track professor will be responsible for teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and for mentoring graduate and undergraduate students.
We seek candidates with expertise in clinical psychological science, broadly conceived. Our interest is less in specific topic areas or methods than in innovation and excellence in the applicant’s research program. Successful candidates might employ data science (including ML/AI, computational modeling, and related approaches), cognitive neuroscience, genetic, or cross-cultural work, among other approaches. We seek candidates whose scholarship complements existing research in the Department .
Basic Qualifications: Doctorate or terminal degree required by the time the appointment begins. Candidates should have demonstrated a promise of excellence in both research and teaching.
Additional Qualifications: Demonstrated strong commitment to teaching and advising is desired.

Three letters of recommendation are required, and the application is considered complete only when at least three letters have been received. At least one letter must come from someone who has not served as the candidate’s undergraduate, graduate, or postdoctoral advisor.

Salary Range: $100,000 – $140,000
Pay offered to the selected candidate is dependent on factors such as years of experience, training or qualification, field of scholarship, and accomplishments in the field.
