Engineer - Equipment Support

A Day in Your Life at MKS:

As Engineer – Equipment Support at MKS Atotech India, you will provide equipment support to assigned customers. This role requires good engineering knowledge of the latest Electro – Mechanical processes and use of advanced software functions in equipment control and operation. The primary objective is to provide timely support to the customers using MKS Atotech Equipment. In this role, you will report to the Manager - Equipmentand based at Mysore, Karnataka

You Will Make an Impact By:

• Equipment Support : Providing equipment support to customers by providing immediate response and critical support on-site during machine breakdown to achieve the targeted MTTR. Plan and execute periodic preventive maintenance procedures, implement retrofit / upgradation of equipment whenever necessary to ensure targeted MTBF and machine availability
• Sales Strategy and Execution: Identify opportunities for MKS Equipments, collaborate with global stake holders to provide the best value proposition to meet the domestic customer needs and requirements. Gain projects for Equipment sales. ( Revenue realized in the global equipment entity).
• Support to Auxillary equipment : Work closely with product management teams, Regional teams and Tech Centers and implement auxillary equipment strategy to ensure optimum chemistry performance at customers.
• Training : Provide necessary training to customer personnel to implement periodic maintenance schedules and resolve breakdowns.
• Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, and partners in the region. Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Conduct regular customer visits and meetings to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Market Analysis and Reporting: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and provide insights on market dynamics. Prepare and present sales reports, market analysis, and forecasts to senior management. Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements.
• Travel Requirements: Up to 50% of Travel is required.

Skills You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with Strong Electro – mechanical knowledge is required
• Experience with use of latest equipment control processes is required.
• 2 – 5 years of relevant experience in equipment support
• Experience in equipment support to Electroplating / surface finishing industry is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and present findings
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
