Senior Business Analyst / Data Developer

Kforce has a client in need of a Senior Business Analyst/Data Developer in Boston, MA. Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop, and document functional, technical, and business requirements for projects of varying complexity
• Create clear business and technical documentation to support development teams and end users
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and incorporate feedback throughout the project lifecycle
• Contribute to project plans in alignment with PMO standards and project leadership guidance
• Communicate delivery milestones and timelines based on capacity and priorities
• Ensure timely delivery of solutions that meet defined requirements and expectations
• Investigate, design, and implement new business solutions and enhancements to existing systems
• Translate business needs into data and technical solutions through complex analysis
• Support data training to ensure effective use of data platforms and BI reports
• Cross-train peers across subject matter and technical areas
• Partner with architects, developers, project managers, and analysts to define use cases and solution requirements
• Lead and present requirements and analysis outcomes to management, technical, and business stakeholders
• Experience defining, reviewing, and maintaining end-to-end data platform requirements
• Strong communication skills with the ability to propose and explain solutions to technical and business stakeholders
• Experience working with sensitive healthcare data and knowledge of HIPAA and data privacy controls
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing and enterprise data solutions
• Excellent data analytics and data profiling skills
• Present analysis results to management, technical teams, and business stakeholders
• Contribute to project planning and support project managers as needed
• Translate business requirements into data warehouse and business intelligence solutions
• Support data training to ensure effective use of data warehouse and BI platforms
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services and cloud data platforms such as Snowflake
• Strong SQL querying skills
• Working knowledge of at least one BI tool such as Tableau or Cognos
