Men's Club Coach (Division 4) - Worcester Rugby Football Club
The Worcester Rugby Football Club is currently seeking a Men's Club Coach (Division 4) for our men’s Rugby team, for the spring and/or fall 2026 seasons. The club participates in the New England Rugby Football Union's Division 2 and Division 4 leagues, and is composed of athletes from the central Massachusetts region. The spring 2026 season will begin in mid-March, and will end in mid-May; the fall 2026 season will begin in mid-August, and will end in mid-November.
Responsibilities
- Co-organize and co-lead weekly evening practice sessions in Worcester, MA twice per week, with the Division 2 coaches
- Educate and teach players the skills, principles, and strategies needed to succeed on the field
- Conduct regular player evaluations and select rosters for matches
- Provide game-day instruction to players to achieve success
Experience
- Experience with the game of rugby as a player, coach, referee, or administrator is a must
Requirements
- Available for 1-2 weekly evening practices, and weekend games, as the schedule dictates (approx. 6-8 hours per week during the season)
- Eagerness and desire to train and impart your learned experience onto the next generation of rugby players

Seasonal Schedule:
- Practices are typically scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday evenings in Worcester, MA from about 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM (subject to change), from mid-March to mid-May in the spring, and from mid-August to mid-November in the fall.
- Game schedule will be announced at a later date; expectation is that games will be held on most Saturdays during the aforementioned seasonal timeframes.

Pay: Up to $3,000.00 per year
