In-Office Property Accountant up to $85,000
We are looking for an experienced and driven Property Accountant to take on full accounting responsibilities across our property portfolio and help us continue to grow. Responsibilities:
- Manage comprehensive property accounting for both residential and commercial assets
- Execute full-cycle accounting tasks: posting journal entries, preparing financial statements, and closing the books monthly
- Oversee AP/AR processes, reconciliations, and day-to-day accounting functions specific to each property
- Engage in budgeting and forecasting activities, contributing to the financial strategy of each asset
- Collaborate closely with both field and in-office teams to ensure accurate and timely financial management
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in real estate or property accounting
- Proficient in AppFolio or similar property management accounting software a plus
- Solid understanding of general ledger accounting, financial statement prep, and month-end close
