Vendor Administration Manager
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
The Vendor Administration Manager will be responsible for vetting potential third-party vendors, as well as managing and overseeing contracts and agreements between MassMEP and our external training partners. In this role, the Vendor Administration Manager will develop a vendor network and provide synergy between internal and external MassMEP resources.
Essential Tasks
- Work closely with department directors to identify scope of needed services.
- Conduct vendor interviews and conduct analysis against objectives.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and amendments to ensure they align with the organization's or client's needs and parameters.
- Maintain a database of all contracts, tracking key milestones, deadlines, and renewal dates.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with external vendors and suppliers, including managing performance, quality, and service delivery.
- Facilitate clear and open communication with grants team, BDA's, Project Managers or other stakeholders involved in the contract, promptly addressing concerns and questions.
- Ensure compliance with all required policies, procedures, and agreements.
- Facilitate orientation sessions with internal stakeholders to ensure they are familiar and well informed of the scope of services a vendor provides.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or related field
- Experience in Manufacturing Environment, or manufacturing specific standards
- Experience with contract management and administration
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce CRM
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit and stand intermittently as required in an office environment
Travel Requirements
- Travel may be required to events within Massachusetts.
