Job Purpose
As an Account Executive , you will play a key role in accelerating VulcanForms growth. You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and converting high-value opportunities into long-term customer partnerships. This is a consultative, hunter-style role for a self-starter who thrives in dynamic environments and excels at communicating complex value propositions to technical and executive stakeholders.
You will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to position VulcanForms' solutions as the foundation for digital manufacturing transformation. Your efforts will directly shape the adoption of our cutting-edge technology across some of the worlds most innovative companies.
This role is remote in the U.S. with regular travel to customer sites and VulcanForms locations.
Key Accountabilities
- Own and drive the sales process from lead generation to contract execution across assigned verticals.
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities through outreach, referrals, and market engagement.
- Cultivate deep relationships with engineers, procurement leaders, and executives to understand customer needs and align VulcanForms solutions.
- Deliver compelling presentations and lead high-stakes discussions with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with product, operations, and leadership to craft tailored solutions that meet client goals.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic positioning and differentiation.
- Represent VulcanForms at key industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
- Maintain accurate reporting, forecasting, and activity tracking through CRM tools and regular communication with sales leadership.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of B2B sales or business development experience in a technical, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
- Demonstrated success in driving complex sales processes and achieving or exceeding revenue goals.
- Ability to engage both engineers and executives in a consultative sales approach.
- Strong business acumen and comfort navigating technical product offerings.
- Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and adapt quickly in a start-up environment.
- Willingness to travel up to 60% to support customer meetings, site visits, and internal collaboration.
- Experience in additive manufacturing, industrial hardware, or advanced production technologies is a strong advantage.
