Counter Sales Representative

Ferguson is seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Counter Sales Representative.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm
Pay: starting at $22 per hour or higher, depending on experience
Responsibilities:
- Provides advice to customers regarding the best products to fit their needs.
- Processing orders via order management system.
- Operate cash registers and follow established cash handling procedures.
- Prepare and stage orders for customer pick up.
- Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards as advised.
- Ensure that merchandise is restocked and placed in their respective areas.
- Maintain a safe working environment including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience required.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC products is required.
- Plumbing product knowledge is helpful.
- General computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required.
- Ability to lift, load, and pack merchandise.
- General math skills to allow for cash accounting.
- An ability to learn is a must-have!
- Excellent decision-making and communication skills.

Pay Range:
$15.00 - $30.47
Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
Ferguson complies with all wage regulations. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
