Clinical Research Coordinator
Our client, a healthcare company operating a clinical research center in Boston, is hiring a Clinical Research Coordinator to manage day-to-day operations of ongoing patient studies. This role serves as the primary point of contact between study participants, principal investigators, and sponsors, ensuring that trials run in compliance with protocol and regulatory standards.
The coordinator will handle participant screening, consent processes, data collection, and study documentation. This position requires close attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple studies simultaneously within a fast-paced clinical environment.
This is an on-site, full-time position based in Boston. The organization supports ongoing training and offers a clear path for coordinators interested in advancing into senior research or project management roles.
Responsibilities
- Screen and enroll study participants according to protocol criteria
- Obtain and document informed consent from participants
- Schedule and coordinate participant visits and study procedures
- Maintain accurate case report forms and source documentation
- Track and report adverse events to principal investigators and sponsors
- Ensure compliance with IRB, FDA, and GCP guidelines
- Manage study supplies, lab kits, and specimen shipping logistics
- Communicate with sponsors and monitors during site visits and audits
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences, nursing, or related field
- 2 or more years of clinical research or healthcare coordination experience
- Working knowledge of GCP and IRB regulatory requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with electronic data capture systems
- Ability to manage multiple studies and deadlines simultaneously
- Experience with informed consent processes preferred
- CPR or CITI certification a plus
