Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical Telemetry Float

Location: Falmouth, MA

Duration: 13 Weeks

Schedule: Rotating Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (36 hrs/week)

Pay: $50–$60/hr

Position Overview:


"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical Telemetry Float for an exciting job in Falmouth, MA.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient care using the nursing process in accordance with organizational and departmental policies.

• Provide compassionate, patient-focused care that ensures a positive experience for patients and families.

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, utilizing resources as needed.

• Perform and document assessments, interventions, and evaluations accurately.

• Safely administer medications, including IV therapy, and monitor patient responses.

• Perform phlebotomy and manage IV therapy independently.

• Provide patient and family education tailored to individual needs.

• Identify and report signs of abuse or neglect as required by law.

• Care for terminally ill patients with compassion and respect.

• Apply safe practices when using chemical or physical restraints.

• Manage time effectively to meet patient care needs.

• Respect patients’ advance directives and cultural backgrounds.

• Address age-specific needs for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

• Perform all required clinical skills safely and according to protocols.

• Manage patients with chest drainage systems, telemetry monitoring, and epidural analgesia.

• Demonstrate proficiency in cardiac medication administration and monitoring.

• Respond promptly and appropriately in urgent or emergent situations.

• Provide post-operative and orthopedic patient care.

• Utilize the Electronic Medical Record accurately and efficiently.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

• Current RN license in Massachusetts.

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Medical/Surgical Telemetry.

• Ability to perform phlebotomy and manage IV therapy independently.

• BLS certification.

• Completion of Medical/Surgical IV Medication Module.

• Completion of Basic Arrhythmia Exam.

• Strong communication skills in English.
