Commercial Lines Account Manager
Commercial Lines Account Manager
Join a respected, family-run independent insurance agency that has been protecting clients across Massachusetts since 1986. For nearly 40 years, this agency has built its reputation on trusted advice, personalized service, and custom coverage solutions that truly safeguard what matters most to their clients. As the agency continues to grow, they’re adding an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to their team, someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and takes pride in providing high-touch, white-glove service.
About the Agency
This is more than just another local insurance office. It’s a community-focused, relationship-driven agency where integrity, care, and professionalism guide every client interaction. Their long-standing success is rooted in one thing: putting people first. You’ll be part of a tight-knit, supportive team that values your input, respects your expertise, and gives you the tools to succeed, plus a leadership team that truly believes in work-life balance and doing things the right way.
What You’ll Do
- Manage a book of small and middle-market commercial accounts, including property, contractors, restaurants, and BOPs
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, handling renewals, policy changes, certificates, and day-to-day servicing
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and underwriters
- Market and remarket accounts as needed to ensure best coverage and pricing
- Collaborate with producers and leadership to deliver seamless, high-quality service
- Use HawkSoft to manage documentation, workflows, and account activity
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3+ years of Commercial Lines Account Management experience in an agency setting
- Strong understanding of commercial coverages and carrier guidelines
- Excellent communication, organizational, and follow-up skills
- A genuine passion for helping clients and solving problems
- Experience with HawkSoft a strong plus
- Active MA P&C License required
What’s In It for You
- Competitive base salary of $80,000–$100,000, plus bonus opportunities
- Comprehensive benefits package (health, retirement, PTO, and more)
- Family-oriented culture where your work truly matters
- Stable, reputable agency with decades of growth and client loyalty
- Opportunity to work alongside industry professionals who value service, not sales quotas
