Machine Operator I
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor functions of equipment and operate according to documented procedures, including maintaining operational logbooks.
- Provide technicians with symptoms of equipment failures when required.
- Assist in Preventative Maintenance (PM) following established procedures.
- Support material handling as necessary.
- Maintain segregation of materials and lot and/or receiving numbers.
- Keep the work area clean and orderly.
- Adhere to and demonstrate compliance with all company and department standard operating procedures, including GMP, device history records, hazard communication, and safety rules.
- Utilize written procedures and training to accomplish assigned tasks.
- Accept full accountability for product quality.
- Report unsolved problems encountered during the workday to the supervisor or management.
- Maintain complete and accurate records of work-in-process, component inventories, and related documentation.
- Operate manufacturing equipment according to established specifications, standard operating procedures, and work instructions under the direction of the Manufacturing Supervisor.
- Demonstrate steady progress in learning all equipment and jobs in the assigned manufacturing area.
- Follow supervisor instructions while observing the quality of raw and finished goods before, during, and after production.
Skills:
- Machine operator experience preferred.
- Strong teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Capability to handle repetitive tasks efficiently.
Education/Experience:
- Relevant experience in machine operation or manufacturing preferred.
- Familiarity with FDA regulations and quality control processes is a plus.
