The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform has thousands of students looking for immediate online AP U.S. Government & Politics help nationally. As an Instant Tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you'll have the flexibility to accept on-demand tutoring requests whenever you're available, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact by helping students in the moment they need it most—all from the comfort of your home.
Responsibilities
- Log on to the platform and accept on-demand tutoring requests when you’re available.
- Conduct remote tutoring sessions for AP U.S. Government & Politics students.
- Quickly assess each student's needs and provide targeted, effective help.
- Use the AI-powered Tutor Copilot to generate lesson plans and support students during sessions.
- Invoice completed sessions and receive payment up to twice per week.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
- Expertise in AP U.S. Government & Politics and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
- Ability to quickly assess student needs and provide targeted help.
- Prior tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education are preferred.
