Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the grounds and landscape of our facilities, ensuring that all areas are well-kept and visually appealing. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Maintenance Person will utilize various hand and power tools to perform tasks related to lawn care, irrigation, and general landscape maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular groundskeeping duties, including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
• Maintain flower beds, shrubs, and trees through proper pruning and care techniques.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various maintenance tasks.
• Conduct routine inspections of the grounds to identify areas needing repair or improvement.
• Assist in landscape design projects by preparing soil, planting flowers, and maintaining garden aesthetics.
• Ensure all maintenance equipment is properly maintained and stored after use.
• Collaborate with other team members to complete larger projects efficiently.

Experience

• Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscape maintenance, or a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with lawn care techniques and garden maintenance practices is beneficial.
• Ability to operate various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A commitment to quality work and attention to detail is essential for success in this role.

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
